Process of Illustration
After an initial discussion of the assignment, including timing, budget, and art directior/concepts I hit the drawing board and do a number of sketches. You will get the best of the best sketches usually the top 3-4 to choose from. After one is choosen, I go to complete the final art.
About Tim
Hailing from the great state of Indiana, I went to school at Ball State University, (home of the mighty Cardinals the fiercest of all robin-sized birds) where I studied graphic design. Then I was off to Chicago where I worked as a designer then art director. Then I began experimenting with vector illustration, and creating my own style after being inspired by other artists. Finally I landed in New York City where I established myself as a freelance illustrator and designer.
